Hraundalur Farm is located outside Borgarnes en route to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The drive from Reykjavik is an hour and twenty minutes. The property is 700 hectares, mostly pristine lava grown with birch and moss. Approached via a two kilometre private road - this is as secluded a place as you can find anywhere. The landscape is magnificent as are the views in all directions. A small stream with the occasional salmon runs through the property on the edge of the lava field. In late summer a pair of eagles comes to search for food and visit us throughout winter.
